Default Toshiba Satelite 2515cds-Fan Doesn't come on

I traded for a Toshiba 2515cds laptop and it worked fine until the HD crashed on it. I replaced the 4GB HD with a 20GB HD, reloaded windows and everything is working great. Even though it is slow compaired to todays laptops it does everything I want it to do. Put a wireless card in it and now I can use it anywhere around the house I want to.

I noticed that the fan wasn't coming on when used for extened periods. I took the computer apart and couldn't find any loose connections. Any idea why the fan doesn't work ?

Thanks Bill

im not sure if the older laptops had it, but if u can monitor the temp see if it is even needed. most times, laptops wont run fans unless the temp goes over a certain point.

make sure all the connections to the laptops are in place. download speedfan and monitor your fans to see if they are spinning or not.
