Start Up Troubleshooting
I am afraid I have more problems than just my video card, although I have the corect PCI-E video card coming today did a test this morning that didnt do well.
I was told that with no video card when you start up the computer you will here a beep, well the only thing that happens when I start up the computer is the fans start and the dvd roms start up. Is this normal or should more be going on than that. |

Some BIOS's beep, some don't. Mine doesn't, so there's nothing you should worry about until the video card gets there. If you put it in and it don't boot, then you got a problem.
