the 5200 is AGP X4 i think, and the 6800 is AGP X8. if the 5200 works, the 6800 will almost definitely work, assuming its not DOA

sorry elmarco, its not 4x, i have an 8x version in my comp right now, i have never heard about that 6800 problem, i will keep a look out about it.

its not too hard to get. you can check to see if your motherboard's AGP is 4x or 8x in the bios. some are 4, some are 8, most are both. agp 4x/8x . for a x8 card to work you must have 8x/4x agp. check your bios. its not difficult at all.

8x AGP cards SUPORT AGP 8x, but they dont require it. So if its an AGP 8x card, and your motherboard only has AGP 2x/4x, it will work, just at 4x or 2x depending what you tell it to do.
