helllloooo....i was wondering if anyone could come up with a list of parts for the best computer i can get for 1700CAD that would be including monitor and a speaker system

thanks i would really appreciate it...as i am going to college and my grandparents are buying it for me to do school work on...although they dont know that i want it for some hardcore gaming! so any input for a good gaming computer for 1700CAD would be awesome

Subtotal = $900USD
There's a good start to work from, well within your budget (which comes out to ~1400USD) .. lots of buffer room for a monitor, keyboard etc.

It's $1700 Canadian dollars which translates roughly to $1400USD hence my comment

I thought 1700CAD was some CAD program lol. And that may help me praetor because thats a cheap setup and still looks pretty game wrothy to me.
