avi question

any time i split an avi file the audio goes out of sync with the video..does anyone know what causes this and how i can fix this besides resyncing the files each time

what are you using to split the files?

1. Dont use VBR audio. VBR audio is a pain for getting out of synch
2. Dump the audio to CBR and then cut it as CBR

AVI MPEG ASF WMV Splitter thats what i use and i have used easy video splitter

that happened to me to when i tried to use on of those programs, so i just went back with movie maker.
