Default OMG worst internet prob PLZ HELP

ok i open my pc the internet works for less that a minute then it starts slowing down until some times u cant even use it...
i restart open the pc internet works for a minute then it starts slowing down until some times u cant even use it.
i format my hd ... but the prob remains the same....
i call my isp they say an electritian must come and look(fix) my phone line from the inside of my house :s ... ok
untill then i plug another pc to the same modem (DSL) and it works fine :S:S:S:S:S
OMG what to do ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

do you have a fliter and is ur DSL usb and it could be your usb ports

what is a filter ? and no its ethernet
note: ive been working great with the same modem for a long time

a filter make you broadband connetion and its stop all the funny sounds like dial up

you dont need a filter for the dsl modem, just for the phones in your house so you dont get interference. When you connected your other computer to the modem, did you conenct it the same way that your curent computer was connected?

Are you using a network card built into your motherboard or is it an add-on card?

looking at your symptoms i would say that the network card, whether it be built in to your mobo or a seperate add-in card, is developing a fault, it cant sustain a stable connection for very long.

It does not seem to be a problem with you tel line because you tried a different pc on it.

Try using a different network card in your pc, or if you are using an ethernet port on your mobo, buy a new add-in card to fit in a spare PCI slot.

First of all thank u guys for taking time to solv my prob ;;P
yes i connected the those 2 pc's same way.. directly to the modem , No routers
emm.. i used both a build in ethernet on my mb and another one i had here (pci slot) both do the same prob
(i may go buy a new ethernet card to be sure )
anything else ?
any ideas ?
