Default microsoft windows piracy

hi there,

Anyone know when you post a mail to the piracy team for microsoft windows reporting that you have pirated microsoft version, will you get charged?

No not necessarily, they will want to find out where you GOT your PC from though, they will get in BIG trouble if they supplied you with the OS. But if you used the pirated software/key, then I wouldn't talk with them, I would get a unique key and chamge it. You can go to home.att.net/~nogoodpig and there is a program that shows the key you used to install Windows, a prgram to change it and some other information. Hope this helps...

1. That error reporting thing is virtually useless anyways .. not like you'll get a personalized email giving u one on one help anyways

2. If your code is not legit, that wouldnt be a smart move even though they wont track you or anything (they're more concerned with bigger fish really)
