Default 6800GT SLI vs 7800GTX Question

Its been bothering me....i see evryone saying...well not everyone but many people sayin 1 7800GTX is more powerful then 2 6800GTS...

But when i look at the benchmarks a single 7800GTX gets around 7000-8300 in 3dMark05

My 2 BFG 6800GTS scored 9231 in 3dmark05

Please tell me what is what thanx!

I would personally think that the SLI 6800's would be faster, but people have different opinions.

Well 3dMark is silly ... purchase decisions based on 3dmark scores are generally discouraged by anyone who knows anything about video stuff. In most cases, the 7800GTX (as i told you before) will outperform two 6800U/GT
