Default video card options...

i have a choice to get one 6800GT for PCI-E or 2 6600GT cards.... which would preform better... the two 6600s or the one 6800?

6800 mate, i take it u got a SLi mobo. If so get the 6800 and then if you want more power u can save up and get another 1. but the 6800 on its own is better compared to 2 x 6600

yea thats a good question, but just go with the better deal overall, which would be the 6800gt, go with that

im going for preformance as is, 2 6600gts overclocked, or one 6800gt overclocked, next purchase would be two 7800s anyways, so for now, what would be the best?

2* 6600GT or 1 6800GT

however.. if you are going to upgrade to 2 7800's.. i wouldnt even bother getting such a expensive card atm. i mean.. thats a complete waste of monney :/ and,.. if you would only buy 2 6600GT,.. you have more monney for the 2 7800's

after reading that, i got that the 2 6600s would run better, and i have a 600watt psu, so power isnt bothering me whatsoever

they have the same performance on screen (2 6600's or 1 6800) if i were you, id go for the cheapest solution

cause why buy two 7800s a month later, then a month later better shit comes out for the same price i paid
