Default Longhorn

Anyone in here have the alpha (PDC build) version of "Longhorn"? If so, what is your first impression? What does it come with? Its without the 3-D "aero" GUI right? Post about it, I have the chance to get it and wondered if it is worth installing or just wait until the beta?

Personally, just wait for the beta - the Alpha will not work fully - although it is the best Alpha OS released ever! It works more than you'd expect; but it is not for a main computer - if you're just looking at it on an old computer it won't work - its a pretty heafty OS!

If you want to see pictures and writing about the Alpha release - I recommend either http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1368390,00.asp which is very thorough or http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/longhorn_alpha.asp which has lots of pictures and is pretty good too.

I personally can't wait until the beta!

If we are talking about the Long Horn Operating system, I have a copy but its riddling with spyware. Might be able to reverse engineer or somthing.
