Default Can anyone help me build a custom computor?

well, Ive been doing craploads of research on what kind of computors to buy. Ive been lookign at alienware laot and Dell. But also i really dont like Dell becaseu my mom's s dell caught on fire on time, well w/e long story. And everyone is saying that alienware overprices the comps. Well than i just dont nkow what to so. Other people are saying you should go to newegg.com, look for the parts i want, than come on here and get help with the complity with the parts to the system. Is it really hard to custome build a laptop? And would people be wiling to help me get the right parts? Ill start posting what parts i need. BTW, i want a gaming laptop with at lease a 2.o Proccesor, maybe a Intel M processor. The best graphics card for gaming and at least 1 GB of memory. Also at least 80 G harddrive, with a 24x CD-w/ DVD Combo. A good battery supply, a network card for wireless internet, a 17 inch screen if possible, and i dont really care about teh dimensions or the weight. I hope you can all help.

well first of all for a gaming laptop ur gonna be forking over a decent amount of cash. second for a gaming computer u are not gonna want pentium m. and people here can help u pick wat parts to get but putting togehter a custom laptop is very difficult. I have never seen anyone buy like a laptop case and put all the pieces in.
