Have I compromised my computer security or even more than that, perhaps, SSN, by giving out my cell phone number to a possible scammer. I feel like total crap. I've been communicating with this girl on Match.com who lived about 3 hours drive away from me for about 3 weeks and gave her my cell phone number. I got suspicious last night, viewed the full email header of one of her messages, did a whois search on her IP address. Yeah, the capital of the world of all scams...Lagos, effen Nigeria. Should I change my cell phone number through my cell phone provider or is there nothing to worry about?? I know this isn't COMPLETELY computer related, but I know there are hacker programs out there that people can purchase that will actually hack someone's Gmail email address password, etc. within a matter of seconds. I'm just really paranoid now and pissed off as all hell. Now I have another reason besides just interest to want to get into networking security
![]() Thanks.
