Do you want to reinstall Windows?

Do you have a HP, Dell, Sony, Compaq, ect....? Please list the model number?

Also did they give you a Window installation Disk?

Well it won't be restoring it will be reinstalling, and most all programs you have installed
Will cease to work because the windows registry will be wiped! You can do a clean install
Which will wipe your entire hard drive, but you do not have to do a clean install, and you will still have all your document and stuff, I think, LOL. Do you have two computers?
So some one on the forum can walk you thru it if you're not sure what you are doing,
But windows XP installation is very user friendly and you could probably do it in yo sleep hehe
