Default no one replyed to my last thread "Question"

1 person replyed to my last thread about the question and it diddnt answer, my question is when my dad starts his computer it sayus Windows xp professional, then it goes black


i was wondering does he need a new video card?

i think ur res might of been set to high. try starting it in safe mode? i dont know much about recovering from a res problem, but that might work...
