Default Slow Quicktime playback...

I had this problem back when I was trying Windows Server 2003 on here, but I still have the problem. I assume it's the driver, but I'm not sure what drivers I should use...

Basically, when I try and play quicktime videos, they KILL my system. Mouse is fine, but it's very sluggish when I click on something and the EQ is very slow. Sound sometimes skips too.

Now, this is only a problem with quicktime. MP3's, AVI's, MEPGS, they all work just fine. I have an actual install of quicktime on here, not some alternative. Any clues?

Default Well

Try a different version of Direct X, install newest graphics drivers. Other than that, I am lost. The problem could be that Server 2003 was never tested and may not work because of that .

I currently have DX 9.0c or whatever(the newest) and you know how hard it is to downgrade... I also have the newest GFX drivers...

I also forgot to mention I'm running XP SP2 now.

I think there is. I'll try enabling/disabling that sometime... Though, that shouldn't be the problem as it always worked on the defaults before these last two reloads...
