Default Battlefield Joystick

I have a SideWinder Joystick from Microsoft, and it does not respond in Battlefield 2, but it seems to work when I test it with Windows. Could anyone please help me with this?

try download the newest drivers for the joystick

There is no driver... Or atleast I can't find any. Thanks anyway
