What mother Board ?????
Hi i want to get a new motherboard 939 soc

Go for an Asus A8N-SLi Premium nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express. Thats if your graphics card is pci-e?
If it is not then get a Asus A8V Rev.2 Deluxe VIA K8T800 Pro (Socket 939) which has an AGP 8x gpu slot. Hope this helps

Your current board is AGP so I assume you have a 6600GT AGP(?).
I just finished building an Asus A8V based system and ab Abit AV8 system and there is a ssignificant speed difference favoring the Abit. These comparisons were made using default bios settings so tweaking might change the comparison but I doubt it.
