Post speedfan on startup

Hi

I want speedfan to run on startup instead of me having to manually open it myself each time, can someone give me instructions on how to do it, i tried putting it in the startup menu folder, i musta done it wrong cause it sure dont load up on startup, do i need to go into regisrty to do it? :S, thanks

easiest to do it in the registry i think, get into regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then to MICROSOFT, then WINDOWS, then CURRENTVERSION, then RUN. Add an entry into that key and point it to the speedfan .exe file (in the installation directory for speedfan).

That should do it i think.

After i go into h key local machine there is no microfost in there to choose, so how do i get into startup programmes?

sorry lisa, my fault, start by going to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE then go to SOFTWARE, then follow the steps from MICROSOFT onwards. Sorry, my fault.

Ok i found out i need to get to hklm/sotware....... so what do i type in the run box to get to that, if i type regedit i dont get that option im sure theres another simular command to type. cheers

ok i did what u said and theres just a list of applications in there, there is no run option, speedfan is in the list but i have no clue still on what to do. helpppppppp lol
