hmmm, it is probably running at full already, by default they do. But it is possible to over volt it and make it go faster, kinda like overclocking a fan. But of course the motor gets hot and it could well die.

A fan controller is a good thing anyway, even if you cant make it go any faster you should still get one.

you probably dont want it to spin faster anyways cause it would become really REALLY like...like my 5000+rpm fan =P

If its the cooling that your trying to increase then new HSF's arent that expensive. You can get a really good one for like £20-£30

ive just bought a new heatsink its the xp 90c and it has brought the temps down at full load its now only 58-60 tops when before it was like 72c, my room temps have been like 30-31c really damn hot, so it idling around 44c im guessing it aint gonna get any better while my room temp is how it is right now.

well, presscotts are known to have heat issues but thats only really on SKT 478, and yours is LGA775, i think they ironed most of that out. My SKT 478 idles around 50 C. With a room temp of about 31 and an ambient case temp of 34. I think i got lucky on my fan layout so mine are a bit lower than usual.

Yours are respectable tems, nothing too low and nothuing too high. Average all round, which is fine.
