I have been good with computers, the tech part of it for several years, but the last month or so I have been contemplating building my own pc over time. I am still in high school, so the budget is tough, and I am thinking of simply getting a few parts at a time and it not being complete for a while. I have been searching and searching, and wondered if these were good things to get based on what I have read on several forums including this, and for the prices as a start in my long journey:
Case - X-Blade; 450 Watts, ATX P4, 2 80mm, 1 120mm Fans for $72 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811105147 Motherboard - ABIT AN7 NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 ATX AMD; Socket A, 3x 184-pin DDR400 for $86 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813127167 CPU - AMD Athlon 2800+, Barton 333MHz FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket A; 2.1GHz, Uses Heatsink and Fan Cooling for $98 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16819103377 CPU Fan - MASSCOOL FalconRock; 26.54CFM at 2,300 RPM for $11 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835150023 So are those all good together? I know I am fairly new to this aspect of computers so I hope I matched everything good. I just wondered if those are all compatible with each other, and are all good prices for what they are. Thanks a bunch... Zepp Last edited by thezeppzone; 09-05-2005 at 04:09 PM. |
