Regarding ZoneAlarm: How many blocked intrusions is "normal"??

I jsut installed it for not even half a day and I got:

"3068 Intrusions have been blocked since install"
"43 of those have been high rated"

and by the time I fnished typing it it's 3073 intrustions. 3076...

It goes up every second. I scan my computer for adware/spyware regularly, and I just dida lot today with ad-aware, registry mechanic, microsoft antispyware, ccleaner, etc...

Is my computer safe!? Does your zonealarm also have so many blocked intrusions???

dude eff zonealarm.....get firefox and service pack 2 and youll never get any pop-ups, spam, viruses, nothing

I got firefox, service pack 2, and I still get viruses, pop-ups, and a lot of other stuff.

did you install firefox and sp2 with a clean windows install? cause thats really the best way to do it, then everything gets blocked before you have admissions settings and so on

Do the steps in the sticky , then post a HJT log for analysis.
