Wow! Good work. However, are you sure you only want a hard drive with ATA-100? That's a little slow. Wouldn't you want something of ATA-133 speed?

Well, i'd prefure there being a western didgital hard drive, so its more reliable and i can be happy with my work

Ya, but samsung is pretty good with screens and stuff, but idk about harddrive, i'll check it out.

Default Raise the budget a little...

If your friend raised the budget about $100, then that would be enough to use the games he likes. Just order the right parts from Newegg.com and it will be a satisfying deal for him. Although the price of $500 doesn't include the OS. I'm sure you can find some way to get that.

And, anyway, how much do u expect prices to go down by around christmas time? he said that he could wait if that ment that much of a preformance increase for the price.
