Arrow Rebuilding Computer

I am trying to rebuild a really old computer to acceptable working condition, i don't have a particular use for this computer, like gaming or something. What are the most important parts to change out (ie. Proccesor, Graphics Controller, etc.)? Thanks in advance for your help.

Celeron D 2.8ghz/Soyo P4VTE MB - http://www.compu-terra.com/store/product3474.html

512mb ddr400 unbranded memory - http://www.bestbargainpc.com/index.a...OD&ProdID=1623

i think that should handle your non specificized usage and is very budget friendly, together under $200.

not to sound silly people but maybe we should ask what system it is before recommending upgrades.

Mine and your definition of old will probably be different
your old will probably be my file server, my old will probably be your toaster
