ADVANTAGES: Price
DISADVANTAGES: It's not going to play new games, (256mb of Ram) Windows XP will use almot all of that.

As for the computer, No, don't get it.Celeron processors = crappiest out there. Low cache size (the amount of mmory in the processor) and FSB (the core speed of the processor) make it realy bad. Like he said, 256mb of ram will not be enough. Also, eMachines don't really use very high-quality components. I would build your own. I build a computer that could play half-life 2 on mostly high settings for about $380 w/ os.

There was a thread about a 400 doller gaming machine, I recomend that, its better all around too.
