Packard Bell webcam microphone-help!

Hello I have a Packard Bell PB-WC100 webcam with built in microphone, however I do not know how the microphone works, or how to activate it?
After trying to get my computer microphone to work, but failing, I decided to give up, which is when I noticed there is a built-in microphone in my webcam. I got the webcam about a year ago and do not have the box it came in, but I do have the CD.
Please help if you know how to get it working!
