Default How much to OC 6600 GT??

I have my Gigabyte Geforce 6600 GT (pci-express) @ factory default speed, what can I safely overclock it to without having to buy extra cooling devices?

Actually, this should be posted in the "CPU and Overclocking" section. You should check this out, it may have the info you need: OC 101

go to start -> run

typ there Regedit

then select the folder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Nvidia Corporation -> Global -> Nvtweak.

there you put a new REG_DWORD and you name it coolbits.
then you select modify, and change the hexadecimal value to 3.

now all you need to do is reboot your system and you should be done.

this is for the clock frequenties (RAM and GPU).
and as far as i know,.. you cant unlock more pipes in a 6600GT

what do yo mean? th coolbits tingy? if you ment that, yes, you can do it with all nvidia cards. (the thing i wrote only unlocks the feat. in the nvidia forceware diver

but,.. to see at what speeds you can put it.. well.. lets say, the card usually runns unstable before you get heat issues
