is leaving your laptop plugged in bad

I have an iBook if that helps at all, but I'm still nto quite sure what to do, just keep it plugged in?

1. I dont think there is any problem, until the charging circuit goes faulty.

2. Battery will die any way in 1 year time, after which the battery life will decrease exponentially. If u keep it in ur bank locker or attached to ur system.
