Toshiba DVD RW

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satelite Pro 4200 and the current internal DVD drive I have is playing up. It will only register certain CDs and will not register DVDs. It only seems to register when it feels like it as a CD will run, and another time it will not.

I dont know whether it is the drive unit or the computer itself. Any clues?

My other question is, what would be a suitable replacement DVD/RW (internal) to fit a Toshiba Satelite Pro 4200, as I am thinking of upgrading.
