what bothers me is he isnt looking at my files. hes reading my IMs and checking my history and stuff. i set my ims to turn of archiving, and i cleared my history and set it not to save any of it, and then when i get back on my computer, magically it has all been reset, and i have to redo it. im starting to wonder if there isnt some program he has installed thats hidden, that maybe automatically does taht. Also, how can i tell if he has put in some sort of key logger?

The only thing i am hiding from him, are my conversations about divorce, that i have in IMs. He doesnt want this divorce, but i do. Hes very very childish, and if i bring up the divorce, hes like ok fine get the f*ck out!!! and causes a huge scene, and scares the kids. I cant leave until im ready financially, so i cant afford to upset him. So when i clear the history and stuff, hes like, what are you hiding? and im like nothing. and hes like, well why are you clearing it? blah blah. I dont like him spying on me. He knows EVERYTHING about computers and aside from having some sort of physical security protection on this thing, i know he can still get in. im so paranoid that hes somehow seeing what i type that i log off of the wireless lan every time im offline. thanks for the suggestions...i really wish i could find that thing i mentioned in the first post. im still going to look for some sort of protection. thanks guys.

If you think he's got a keylogger installed, download Hijackthis, install it, then log in as administrator and run it, select "scan and save logfile", and post the log here. We'll be able to see what's going on at startup.

ok i downloaded that, and when i tried to unzip it, it says one file was extracted successfully...but there is no file. if i click run as, and select admin, the hourglass pops up then goes away and nothing happens. the only other option when i open it, is run winzip, but i dont have winzip, so now what?
