Hi, i'm new

Hey,

my problem is that when I go on websites, sound no longer comes on - it plays for mp3's, dvd's, and streaming webpage media - but not the integrated sound that usually appears

i'm using internet explorer 6.

maybe a windows media player issue? Dod you have wmp9?

sounds like the sound card is already being occupied by another program when u access these web sites. is media players open in background or anything. try restarting and going to a website with the sound. see if it plays.
