Default please help PC died

Today my Pc Crashed I tried to reformat and reinstall windows
it lets me reformat hard drive (delete partition, create partition reformat) after it does this it tells me your computer is going to restart and continue installation of windows every thing up to this is normal so the pc restarts and tries to send me through this yet again. i don't know what the issue is hard drive maybe ? any help would be greatly appreciated. and worse comes to worse are emachines quality computers? i saw one with an amd 64 3400+ processor and a gig of ram and i am thinkin a 80 gb hdd for $600. wont be for gaming

maybe try taking the cd out?

As Trizoy suggests, try removing the disc, Alternatively, check that the HDD is set as one of the boot drives Regarding your worst-case scenario, emachines is, as far as general end users are concerned, not really different from any other OEM and have a decent value for what you're paying

I got
searching for bot record from scsi.. not found
Insert BOOT diskette in A:
press any key when ready
problem is i dont have a floppy boot disk
tells me setup is starting windows and stops

Dont boot from SCSI unless you happen to have a SCSI drive... just boot from "HDD0" or something to that effect
