Default Cs:cz - Help!

Right, I had cs:cz on steam and It didnt work so I installed it from the disc, now I can see server lists and stuff, great. Now it wont connect to any server, freezes. When I go to windows task manager it says its not responding. What is going on and how do I fix it?

Windows firewall automaticly blocks multiplayer programs, did you unblock it? Also your other firewall may be blocking it.

Yes its unblocked on windows. Maybe some wierd connection? All the servers were at 250ping or higher

Thats pretty high. Try conecting to the lowest ping server just to see if it will work.
