they are different games. one is unreal tournament 2004 , the other is unreal 2

they are by no means the same, Unreal II has a storyline or a plot in it, UT2004 is just battle after battle of fighting etc... UTII is a lot better IMO, get them both.

Let me put it the simple way:
Unreal II = Single Player Unreal Tournament 2004 = Multiplayer I have both games and they both are great.

well.. you can play it multiplayer.. but its not as good as the multiplayer of ut2004.
however, the singleplayer of Unreal II is better ![]()

Yes, what I am saying is to buy Unreal II for the single player since the multiplayer sucks in Unreal II, and get Unreal Tournament 2004 for some nasty multiplayer action. I'd recommend getting both, since they aren't that expensive anyway (I think Unreal II costs like $15 now and UT 2004 costs like $30-40.
