I would get a slightly better monitor, a good gaming monitor, I believe, should have a respnose time less than 16ms.

yeah that is just extra I have an older CRT monitor that I could use until I get more money but yeah I was thinking I should get a better monitor any suggestions? Also I was doing some research and the DFI lanparty sli motherboard gets better scores in many testing categories, should I go Asus or DFI why?

p8ntballsnyper, not bad setup, but i'd go with xp pro. u completely 4got to add in memory. i'm know there are cheaper 5.1 speaker systems. heck, i found a 7.1 system for 82. you'd probably want a SATA hard drive. for the case and monitor you might actually save some money buying them at a nearby store because then you don't have to pay the huge shipping costs. dropping one of those 6800's off will really save you some money and you'll be able to play all the games you mentioned just fine. Two would be awesome, but having a budget kinda sux sometimes.

Oh Oh computer won't run without memory, 1 Gig of good stuff. Around $160.
Check out how those speakers sound up against others like the Klipsch.

man I can't believe I forgot ram Ill add that. So things to look at are RAM, different speakers, a different monitor , xp pro and sata HDD, oh and dropone of the 6800s. The thing is that there aren't really any good cases at my local stores but I will check on that again. Thanks guys for all the advise and I'll get back to you guys with the new setup. If you can think of anything else just post it.

much better. do u really need 7 surrounds though. i'm completely happy with my 2.1 jbl creature speakers. and while i did say that i found those speakers cheap, i doubt they sound very good at all or that tehy will last very long. did you read any reviews on those speakers?
