Default Hmmm

You seem to be perfectly right about that AMP figure not being enough for an SLI setup. In this case, I would refer to Praetor's PSU101 and aim for some of the best PSUs. You are looking at two hungry beasts that need a powerplant to run

28A recommended, 32 would be "tough".

24 amps is enough for a fully loaded system with 2 6800ULTRA's, 2 pci cards. and all usb ports full, a x2 4800+. (im shure about this, because the book that came with my mobo tells so.)

Hehe don't you bet on that.

I'm running the stuff in my sig on a 24A psu atm & I wouldn't want anything less.

24 is "enough" if you don't do anything strenuous with it (such as playing farcry, D3, BF2, whatever at highest settings). When you pump it up you also pump up the amount of power needed by everything.

forgot to mention.. that was under full stress. though that would be clear.

and maybe i should mention that my pc before i got it, was tested 40 hours under full load (with 2 6800ULTRA's ) with a 24A +12V PSU, before delivered.
and,. apearantly, it managed the test.
