Radeon 9700 down to 9000

Halu

My brother has bought a second hand laptop. There were many softs in this laptop, but he's dislike. So, he decided to fomat and to set up win again.

After that, the VGA had been 9700 , but now only 9000. Although, he install 9700 driver. And, 128MB down to 32 MB.

So, I wonder is the VGA onboard enable?

Could you tell me reason? And how to solve it.

So his laptop was suppose to come with a 9700 w/ 128mb. But now its only showing as a 9000 w/32 mb? If its shared memory, then you probably have to go into the BIOS and change it to 128mb. But i dont know why it went down from a 9700 to a 9000.
