Default printer spool

This comes up when i try to close my pc down.Cant because of printer spool

try to reset you printer spool.
c:\windows\system32\services.msc => PRINT SPOOLER right click STOP AND START

Hi sorry to be a pain. But would it be possible for you to tell mehow to do it please.As i dont know much about computers only how to switch it on and off thanks maggie

Hi the printer i have is epson c66.I did have a lexmark. not now. It seems to be ok now it shuts down ok.My other problem is my printer wont work. A box comes up and says. print to file? Then at the side of the box it says.output file name. i have no idea what this is.
