There's no use in spending $180 on a sound card and only getting $80 speakers. First of all, most people wouldn't notice much difference in the sound quality of a $180 sound card and a $40 one. I'd recommend just getting a good, standard Sound Blaster card with 7.1 support. If you want the best sound you can get, plan on spending $200+ on speakers.

I think the Audigy 2 Value will serve you well with those speakers.

I would also suggest the Audigy 2 value. As already said, makes little to no sense purchasing a very expensive card and budget speakers (you wont hear a diff.) buy a cheaper soundcard and spend a little more on speakers.

Also a nice 7.1 surround sound card can cost as little as $34. Canadian.
