Home Network software...

I want to network a PC to a laptop, (win XP) I have a SMC EZS Switch, I can't get it working, but my net is working via the hub. any software that will do all the hard work like conf. both computers to work on a nt.

Well the switch wont allow you to have the network, it is for something else.. A hub will work, but the best thing would be a router (if you wanna share a internet connection aswell). All you need to do is enable sharing and share the folders you want to see. Also make sure your inn the same workgroup..
