Default problem running a game

when I run a some games on my comuter it a screen popups up stating sports car gt has encountered and error and need to be shut down. sorry for the inconvenience. when i try to run it again it will do the same thing

The graphics card is an integrated sis mirage2 graphics with 128 mb shared video memory

It's integrated graphics. That explains it.

You need some kind of PCI or AGP video card. Try the nVidia GeForce 5200 or 5500 series.

Almost any computer store, CompUSA, Best Buy, etc. It's about $50 - $80 for the card, depending. just make sure you get the right type (PCI or AGP).

i suppose the games are too advanced for it so i would go for as viper suggested

That game was released in 1999. Maybe there's a backwards compatability issue with Windows XP (assuming that's what you're using)? Maybe DirectX issues, though I doubt it considering the error you got, which is pretty generic.

Have you tried just uninstaling and reinstalling that game?

XP didn't come out until 10/2001 I *think*. It's worth a shot.

Yes but from a big publisher like EA, it shouldnt have a problem with XP
