Default Western Digital WD2500JB Problem

I built my computer about 3-4 months ago and realized that my hard drive only has a capacity of 127GB, when its actually capacity should be 250gb. I didnt worry about it at first but now i need the space and the website explanation is a little hard to work with. Can anyone explain how to change it to 250gb full capacity?

Thanks

I already knew about this website, i followed the steps and i believe my version is higher then required but my hard drive is still not being recognized as 250gb. After checking the version i dont understand how to find the registry file and change its value, etc. .

The following is a screenshot showing my version:

1. ATAPI is for optical drive.
2. Visit http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;303013
Should be problem solved at this point.

You don't just magically get all the space once you enable 48bit lba. You need to partition the rest of the space
