i Have windows xp and i wanted to find out how can i set a time to turn offf my computer automatically i can;t stand by it cause i dun work and i want to do this so in like an hour my comouter will turn off automatically when my ipod has charged..
Any suggestions like programs, windows tools |

Well you can set your computer to go to hibernate or system standby (low power usage)..2 hours of inactivity.. right click on the desktop and under the screen saver tab there is a power button on the bottom. Just set it to the time it takes for you to charge the Ipod

1 hour in milliseconds is 360000
2 hours in milliseconds is 720000 3 hours in milliseconds is 1080000 ..... i think

or forget the timed operation and use scheduled tasks to set a time(or period of idle) to run shutdown.exe -s.
