I am using XP and my desktop icons have aquired a mind of their own. No matter how I arrange them whenever I boot up my computer they now arrange themselve the way they want which is a double row on the left side of the desk top. I have tried to arrange them in the order I want and have them set to "align to grid". When I reboot the desktop shows them the way I have set them but then changes them to the left side in a different order. I have tried every option in "arrange icons by" with the same result. This stared a few months ago and I don't think I can use restore sytem as I cannot remember exactly when. Has this happened to anyone else?
