Hi, new to the world of notebook computers and I saw what I feel is a great deal on a Acer notebook with a Celeron M 370 1.5 GHz processor also saw basically the same notebook but with a slightly smaller screen and hard drive and a AMD Sempron M 2800+ Wondering if someone could explain to this newbie the differences between these two processors. And isn’t it true that both of these budget processors have less L2 cache then the more expensive processors. And are there any heat problems associated with either one of these processors. Thanks

well since they are most mobile processors there shouldn't be much heat issues (please correct me if i'm wrong i dono that much about mobile processors). I think i read in another forum that the Celeron M is better but maybe you'll want someone else to confirm that.

well, the semprons are really nice processors, even though there not as good as the ahtlon 64, but it is much better then the celeron, at pretty much everything (especially gaming).

1. Celeron are the processor which are in some way defected during manufacturing, and intel had opened this secret after P4 luanch.
2. They are crap processor,u may just work with MS office applications. 3. Online experience will be horrible n dont think of gaming. 4.And those of u who own one, buy a new system n then tell me.
