I have the Karajan moduel, it produces decent sound and it works on a tight budget. I like it.

ONBOARD BABY!!! I'm not an audiophile, just as long as it produces sound. Anyway, onboard nowadays is very good, plus it saves you $$$$$

Onboard. SoundStorm™ Technology - It was/is comparable to Audigy sound quality. Audigy 2 I don't know about, probably not as top notch, but good enough for me.

I like my 4.1 speakers, so I went and got an elcheapo $15 no name card. Works fine and my Creative 4.1's (I bought them for $60 at WalMart two years ago) make my ears bleed. Ya can hear em two floors away, clearly.

I have the Live! card and I love it. I want to invest in a new card as soon as possible, but right now for $20 it does the trick. Optical would have been nice...
