Default USB will not work in windows

It recognizes the devices, but whenever I try to install drivers some missing .dll pops up, and I can never install the .dll file. Can some one help me out?

Few questions:

1. What version of Windows?
2. What kind of USB device are you talking about?
3. What is the name of the missing .dll file?
