Default Need help with OS/hard drive/visuals

i jsut bought a new 80gb hard drive from WD. I installed windows xp professional. However it could not detect the video card i have in the computer (geforce 6600 256 mb). And the monitor was plugged into the vid card. so everything was all choppy. What si wrong and what can i do to fix it? Do i need ot download something? I don't have the cd that came with the card. It broke. Help.

then you would have to get the driver to install it. most of the time they will have the drivers on their site. if not, you have to google around.. one site that i like is driverguide.

You need to install the drivers, If you have the disk for the video card then pop the disk in and go in to device manager and up date the drivers other wise you have to go to the Nvidia website and Download the drivers and install them that way.

Usually Windows xp Pro will detect and install its driver directly that's provided by it's driver database. Anyway, above suggestion are right.

G-FORCE is part of NVIDIA, check their site for the latest driver download.
