Default Windows Movie Maker/Capture Card

Okay, I just recently bought an ATI TV wonder Pro capture card to record Xbox from and other TV programs and such. I have lots of videos saved and I wanted to move them to Windows Movie Maker to edit a video. I imported the files to windows movie maker just fine and when I watched each one separately they work fine. The problem is when I add them to the storyline, it says that they are audio files; however, when I watch them separately in windows movie maker or on the ATI card they work just fine. Any solutions?
