Ok... what does anybody know about the new Operation System by microsoft: operation Longhorn???

Longhorn was actually the "Codename" the actual name of the new OS is Vista, you can find lots of information here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.mspx

its in beta right now.. its not all that great as of yet.. you should wait for beta 2 or the final version if you are thinking about testing it out.. it just basically has a new GUI in beta 1.. most programs i have tried to install it on wont run.. it was beta.. so i didn't mind.. reinstalled xp again..

beta 2 is to be released around december.. the first or second week.. not sure of exact dates.. but its a nice turn for microsoft.. but their system requirements are pretty demanding..
