Default capturing audio through L and R composite audio

i have a vcr hooked up tp my computer, and I am trying to convert it inot dvds

so i use windows movie maker.....to capture the video i use my front composite video port, and that works great.

but the sound wont capture...i have it plugged into the front composite audio ports....and i thnk that i ma selecting the right input source befroe i satrt the capture....ive tried all of them anyways(the mic one did work, i hooke dup a mic, piked the mic audio input, and it recorde me talkin) well anyways...yeah...i dont know whats up....

i had an hp before this one, and i had notrouble capturing on that one
